In plain language: applying, contacting us, job alerts and text messages

Quick apply

When you use “Quick apply” on a job, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, specialty and, if you upload one, your CV. We store this in PCRecruiter, the applicant tracking system our recruiters use, and share it with Locum Life recruiters so they can contact you about that job and similar opportunities. We first check whether you already have a record with us (by email and phone) so we update it rather than creating a duplicate. A copy of your application, including your CV, is also emailed to the Locum Life recruiting team.

Contact form

When you send us a message through the contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), the topic you chose, your message and the page you sent it from. Your message is emailed to the Locum Life team so we can reply to you.

Job alert emails

If you sign up for job alerts, we store your email address and the filters you chose (such as specialty, state, region or Compact states). We only start sending alerts after you click the link in the confirmation email we send you (double opt-in). Every alert has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Job alerts

When you create a job alert we collect your first and last name, email address, profession (and MD or DO for physicians), specialty, the states you're licensed in, the states you want to work in, whether you hold an IMLC license (physicians, optional), and, only if you opt in to texts, your mobile phone number. We use this to send the alerts you asked for, and after you confirm your email we add it to our recruiting database (PCRecruiter) so a recruiter can match you with jobs. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time with the link in every alert.

Text messages

Text message job alerts are optional. We only text you if you give us your mobile number and check the consent box, and agreeing is never a condition of employment or of any service. We keep your number, your consent and when you gave it so we can show you agreed. Message frequency varies, and msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell your mobile number or opt-in information, or share it with third parties for their marketing.

Spam protection

Our forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person, not a bot, is submitting them. Turnstile processes limited technical information about your browser and device for that check only.

Deleting your information

To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, including your application and CV, email [email protected]. We will confirm when it is done.
